The start of a new year is never exactly a quiet time here at GGM, but January 2025 was particularly hectic, with Storm Éowyn battering the nation and our tree surgeons working non-stop to assist with the recovery efforts.
Our emergency tree work took us the length and breadth of Scotland and beyond, with our team even taking the short trip across the Irish Sea to Belfast to help restore power to more than 65,000 homes.
There was still plenty of time to fit in our more regular fare of stunning garden transformations, landscaping, routine tree surgery, railway work down in Carlisle and an appearance at a local careers night at Cathkin High School!
We have compiled some of our favourite images from one of the more eventful months in recent times at GGM below, and look forward to doing it all again in February (except maybe without one of the worst storms in over a decade!).
Belfast Storm Éowyn Recovery Work
GGM were on the road, well the ferry, this month, with our 24-hour utility truck travelling over to Northern Ireland to help restore power to over 65,000 homes affected by fallen trees in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.
